Expanding educational opportunities in STEM fields is critical to the future of scientific research and enables talented young people to achieve their full potential.
We create such opportunities through scholarships, especially for students from underserved and rural areas of Michigan, and through our support for educational infrastructure.

We contributed $25 million to build the Leinweber Computer Science and Information Building at the University of Michigan, a new, 163,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility that unites computer science and engineering with information and data science under one roof, facilitating collaborative research and innovative learning.

We have pledged $50 million to build the Leinweber Center for Engineering and Digital Innovation at Michigan State University. This 265,000 square foot facility will take a pioneering approach to research and instruction across six colleges and will serve as a hub for transformative learning, empowering students to tackle the challenges of today and tomorrow.
